About Us

Bucks Lake Camp is the perfect basecamp for your next adventure.  Our family and pet friendly property offers

tent, RV and group campsites with convenient lake access.

If you are a nature lover, looking for leisure, or just want

to finally use that gone-fishin' sign, this is the place for you.

Being situated in the heart of the High Sierras means our season dates can vary depending on snow and access,

but with these views we wouldn't have it any other way!

We aim to open the gates June 1st thru October 1st.

We strive to provide a unique and rustic camp experience catered to your needs, and our sites are anything but

ordinary, so reservations are handled directly by our team.

We can't wait to see you at camp, so contact us for a reservation today!

2023 Reservation Update: Almost Booked

Spots are filling up fast for the upcoming 2023 season. Reservations begin Jan 1st and can be made through our Reservation Request Form.  After June 1st Reservations can be made via request form or by calling (530-283-2221). Hope to see you at the lake!

Our Sites

Our property offers a one-of-a-kind camp experience with plenty of options to fit your needs.  All sites have water hookups (no sewer or electric), and are either waterside or a short walk to the beach.

A quick note on pricing and campsite capacity: we book according to Units.  What is a Unit, you ask?

Let's get into the math:

 One RV Unit = 1 RV + 1 tent + 1 vehicle + 4 people over the age of 12

One Tent Unit = 2 tents (site size permitting) + 1 vehicle + 4 people over the age of 12

There may be an opportunity to add "Extras" (additional person, vehicle, pet, etc.) to your Unit with Bucks Lake Team approval, so check out our Rules, Rates & Extras for details...
